David P. Chow, Partner, is one of the firm's founding partners and heads the firm’s business litigation group. He is an attorney licensed to practice law in both California and Texas and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. Court of International Trade and U.S. District Court (Central District of California).
David is an expert in contract law and business litigation. He is a former Federal Investigator with the U.S. Department of Labor. He is also a Licensed Customs Broker, issued by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection.
David cofounded several international companies. As a serial entrepreneur and lawyer, he has practical experience of advising international companies on Customs issues and business strategies. Moreover, he had years of experience in commercial development, advising developers and contractors on various issues.
Besides practicing law, David contributes his success and time back to the community. He is appointed by the Mayor and City Councils of San Gabriel as a Civil Service Commissioner from 2016 - 2020.
David graduated from University of Southern California (USC) with a Bachelor of Science from Marshall School of Business with concentrations in Entrepreneurial Studies and Information System. He also graduated from University of La Verne College of Law. David is fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
Sandy Pao is an of-counsel attorney, specializing in intellectual property and corporate governance for clients ranging from entrepreneurial individuals, small businesses, and multi-national companies. She focuses her practice on developing, analyzing, and managing IP portfolios in diverse areas of software technology, biotechnology, and media.
Sandy has prosecuted trademarks and copyrights with the USPTO and has handled transactions related to such strategic assets such as acquisitions, defense filings, licensing, non-infringement, and permission to use. She combines her unique IP experience with understanding of corporate regulations to help clients form and grow their companies with valuable asset portfolios from the very beginning.
Sandy received a Bachelor of Arts from Cornell University in Science and Technology Studies with a concentration in Law and received a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School with a concentration in Intellectual Property. Sandy is licensed in the state of New York. She is fluent in Mandarin.
Wendy Weng, of counsel and attorney at law, is a civil litigator with extensive experience in commercial contract disputes. She represents business owners’ expectations, rights, and obligations arising out of agreements in legal proceedings. In addition, Wendy is a certified mediator and has successfully utilized alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods to resolve disputes in both private and business arenas.
Wendy is licensed in the state of California and received her law degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles and her undergraduate degree from the University of California, San Diego. In addition, she is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
Lisa Wang is an of-counsel attorney, specializing in intellectual property, anti-counterfeiting, and China-American business strategies. She counsels clients on international marketing, branding, digital technology, and trademark issues. She also advises on employment law and nonprofit management.
Lisa has worked in Beijing, China, where she was an attorney at Rouse Legal, an international IP consultancy. She has also worked on law and technology matters for Electronic Arts.
Lisa received her Bachelor of Arts from UCLA, and her Juris Doctorate from UC Berkeley School of Law. She is licensed to practice in California. She speaks Mandarin, French and Spanish.
